Charlie Adams is a seasoned general contractor, project manager, and team builder with a lifelong career focus on construction. A native of Juneau Alaska, Charlie began his career as an apprentice carpenter in his teens, working his way up through the trades on remote site prefab structures, multi-family, and commercial properties, and eventually acquiring a degree in construction management. After relocating to Seattle in 1999 Charlie worked for a luxury home builder as a project manager for 10+ years. There he was able to combine his Alaska experience and diverse skills into the complex task of efficiently crafting high-end residences as well as other project types in the Seattle area. In 2010, he began C A Adams, LLC, engaging with homeowners and architects on technically complex, award-worthy projects throughout Puget Sound and he has gained notoriety for complex architectural concrete and precise steel structures.
Charlie brings the kind of commitment and endurance gained from a life of racing sailboats – his other passion. With thousands of hours at sea, he is a licensed captain and has had the thrill of competing in many sailing events throughout the world. Since an early age, sailing has instilled in Charlie a drive for challenge and achievement. Planning, precision, and a keen instinct for navigating sudden unexpected conditions in both sailing and construction are keys to Charlie’s makeup.
