For more than thirty years, Charlie Adams has worked on projects ranging from custom waterfront residences and steep-slope construction to major renovations, floating homes, condominium remodels, and architect-led custom homes throughout the Seattle area.

Many of the firm’s projects involve unusual levels of technical complexity, requiring close collaboration among homeowners, architects, engineers, consultants, and specialty trades. The goal is always the same: thoughtful construction, careful execution, and homes that perform as beautifully as they look.

The people behind the work

about charlie

Charlie Adams is the founder of C A Adams and has spent more than three decades building homes and managing complex construction projects.

Raised in Juneau, Alaska, Charlie began working in construction as a teenager and developed experience across residential, commercial, and remote-site projects before earning a degree in Construction Management. After relocating to Seattle in 1999, he spent more than a decade managing luxury residential construction before founding C A Adams in 2010.

Today, Charlie works closely with homeowners, architects, engineers, and consultants on custom homes, major renovations, and technically challenging residential projects throughout the Puget Sound region. His work is known for combining practical problem-solving, thoughtful planning, and exceptional execution.

Outside of construction, Charlie is an accomplished sailor and licensed captain with thousands of hours offshore. The same qualities that define successful sailing—preparation, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail—continue to shape his approach to construction today.
